Benevolent Fund This special fund is administered by the minister, who is accountable to the Treasurer for keeping tack of dispersals and with sensitive information remaining anonymous. It's purpose is to help people within the church and the community in financial need. Food vouchers are given out. Special offerings are taken in church to make this possible. Individuals will at times designate a donation to go specifically to the Benevolent Fund, which is greatly appreciated. Centre 507 On the second Wednesday of each month, members of the congregation go to Centre 507, a drop in centre housed in Centretown United Church. People in the congregation prepare food (sandwiches, desserts, etc.) and donate fruit, cheese and prepared food which we serve to the clients while engaging in conversation with them. We also give special donations of money, clothing and hygiene items. The Well/La Source Located in St. John the Evangelist Church, 154 Somerset S t.
